Workers Compensation Insurance

Workers compensation insurance is mandated by the state of Tennessee for businesses with 5 or more employees. Workers comp covers employees injured on the job or in auto accidents, while working for you; it also covers work-related illnesses and services needed to help an employee recover and return to work.

At Nunley Insurance, we have several of the nation’s leading workers compensation providers, and we have the knowledge and resources necessary to assist injured employees in obtaining necessary medications and treatment for work related injuries and illnesses, without out of pocket expenses.

Cyber Liability Insurance

Over the last few years, data breaches have resulted in major fines and legal fees for a major retail chain, one of the nation’s biggest banks, a large health insurer and the federal government, and unfortunately, cybercrime is on the rise across the board. Surprisingly, large businesses are not the only ones susceptible to a data breach; Are you aware that 55% of small businesses have experienced a data breach and that 53% have had more than one breach?

If a data breach is traced back to your business, you are responsible for providing identity theft service for two years to those affected. Cyber liability insurance protects your business against the expenses associated with a data breach. Cyber Liability insurance covers your business' liability for a data breach entailing sensitive customer information, such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, license numbers and health records. Cyber Liability insurance, also, covers legal fees and expenses, alerting customers of the data breach, restoring personal identities of affected customers, recovering compromised data and damaged computer systems.

Commercial Property

Commercial property insurance protects your business from minor hiccups to major financial loss. Whether you own your building, lease or work at home, commercial property insurance protects your business’ physical assets.

Commercial property insurance protects your assets in the event that they are stolen, damaged or destroyed in a fire or natural disaster.

We’ll partner with you to design insurance coverage that will protect your company’s property.

Let our associates Nunley Insurance asses your commercial property needs and design a policy suited for your business.

Q.  How much are the wage replacement benefits if a doctor takes my employee off work?

A.  An employee is entitled to receive 66.67% of their average weekly salary if the injury is compensable and if the amount is within the maximum and minimum amounts established by law. To determine this amount, the employer must submit a Wage Statement. The wage statement will list an injured employee’s gross earnings for the fifty-two weeks prior to the date of injury.
